YOGA & MEDITATION

Each morning we will practice creative Vinyasa Flow sequences inspired by the chakras. Every day will be structured with a focus on each of the 7 chakras, with a special focus on the two most creative chakras Vishuddha (Throat Chakra) and Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra). In our chakra Meditation sessions we will bring our attention to the present moment using breathing practices, mental imagery, muscle and body relaxation. Complementary Journaling helps us to focus on the positive and important things in life through targeted notebook entries. Postures will be held for a longer time, while the muscles can relax. Yin Yoga has a positive effect on your circulation, organs, immune system, muscles and joints. It stimulates the connective tissue in the body and improves joint mobility. Yin Yoga can also help you to reduce stress and anxiety.

Creating

with clay

Together we will dive into the sensual material of clay to form a new perspective. We will use the creative process to let our inner unconscious self come to the surface. Antonia will guide you into a flow like state to still the fluctuations of your mind and find meditation in your hands

Getting your hands dirty like you did as a kid. There is nothing to aim for. In our cozy workshop setting you will have loads of time to feel, develop and expand your ceramics horizon. We will look into different hand building techniques and tools. Rather than coming with high expectations we invite you to bring curiosity and play.

The contact with clay is a direct connection to nature, it provides a grounding approach to ourselves and our surroundings. There is time and space to find your meditative flow in creating a piece of art. Invite curiosity and play to lead your way.

PLANT-BASED

FOOD

Throughout your stay you'll be served delicious and well-balanced healthy and plant-based food. Feel nourished and at the same time light enough to focus on your inner self.

We provide 3 buffet plant-based meals a day using seasonal produce, wherever possible from our own garden and local farms.  Most meals will incorporate pulses, grains and an abundance of vegetables - cooked and raw depending on the season.  During the week, typical Italian dishes, such as pasta, risotto and gnocchi will be served.

FAQS

  1. Are most people single or in pairs or groups?

80% of participants are solo travelers looking to make new friends and enjoy life and end up with a whole new group of friends.

  2. How do you pair up people in shared rooms?

We match people up based on our conversations and what we know about them. On our first day together ~ we confirm personality and compatibility and adjust as needed.

  3. What level of yoga?

Yoga is for everyone from beginners to advanced practitioners. Please let us know of any injuries or special medical conditions before our first day of meeting. We'll observe and suggest adjustments to your pose according to your physical needs. You are free to tailor the practice to suit your needs and we are here to talk about your practice anytime.

  4. What level is the clay workshop?

The clay workshops are intended for people who are into the material and want to know more about it and take time to connect the flow of creativity with their yoga practice. Also more experienced people in pottery art are welcome but please be aware that you can only take a limited amount of pieces home with you.

  5. What do I need to bring for the clay workshop?

All materials, clay, drawing materials as well as inspirational and supportive Welcome pack will be provided. You will receive a certain amount of clay to work with during our time together. Please bring an extra carry on bag for your work.

  6. Can I take my clay pieces home?

We have a limited amount of space in our kiln, depending on the scale of your work as well as the drying process. As a group we will make sure that everyone has a piece to take back home. During the entire week our focus will be on the creative process, experience, trying different techniques and learning about the material rather than production. Those skills and experiences are the most valuable pieces you can bring home and incorporate in your future practice.

Please note to either bring an extra carry on bag for your work or reach out to us to arrange shipment at extra cost depending on weight and home location. You will receive clear instructions on how to glaze pieces, that we only fired once, at a ceramic studio in your home town. We are happy to support you with contacts or setup connections to local studios.

  7. What Languages do you speak?

Yoga and clay classes are held in English but everything can be explained in German.
